If you do, unfortunately, we won’t be able to give you another one.

Yes, there will be one dress code for every night. Check this year dress codes in the Schedule page and in our social media.

For getting drinks in the bar, you have to first buy a voucher that can be paid by cash or credit/debit card.

This ticket costs 10CHF and you can buy as many as you want.

If you don’t use all your tickets, you can refund them on Sunday.

TWINT (Switzerland’s payment app) is not accepted.

The bar will be opened while there will be something happening in the United Nations room (from 11 a.m. to 05 a.m. with a small break for dinner)

During the night parties, we’ll have a free & supervised cloakroom. The cloackroom is mandatory (Only one shoe bag or a small handbag is allowed).

During the day, unfortunately, the cloakroom is not supervised.

Yes, we will have a stand of Flammekueche where they will be preparing this Alsatian dish for a very reasonable price!

Otherwise, you have 13 restaurants in the Shopping Mall which is connected to the hotel. Get a 10% discount with your wristband at “Coop Restaurant” in the food court area of the “La Praille” shopping mall.

The hotel is inside a mall and it has more than 13 restaurants! You will not be hungry at any time!

The Flammekueche stand will be also open to grab a tasty bite for a very reasonable price!

As you might know, Switzerland is not inside the European Union, so your telephony operator might not provide the roaming options for free. Add plane mode to be sure when you land.

Be careful because having your data active in the country might cost you a lot!

We recommend that you buy a prepaid SIM Card at the airport upon your arrival; otherwise, you can use the hotel’s free WiFi.

Unfortunately, you cannot park your electrical scooter inside the venue, so you might need to leave it outside.

Ticket FAQ's

Unfortunately, refunds are not possible but you can still sell your pass and request a change of name through your personal area in Go&Dance.

The deadline for a name change is April 2nd and it costs 10€.

You can use the WhatsApp and Facebook discussion groups linked in the Contact page.

You need to present your ID to the welcome desk of the event. 

Without a valid ID matching the name of the ticket you won’t be able to pick your wristband.

Sometimes, the emails arrive to the spam folder, so please, double check it.

If you still don’t find it, please, email us to info@bachatagenevafestival.com and we will check it in our system.

Yes, we don’t make diffence between roles for the tickets sold.

Unfortunatly no. The master classes are only included in the Master Pass ticket, which is an upgrade of the Full Pass. There are only limited tickets and it’s only dedicated for very advanced dancers.

The Master Classes are designed for people who have an advanced level. This criterion is very difficult to evaluate, but we consider that a person who match the following criteria would be able to participate:

– At least have danced bachata for more than 3 years
– Have attended several  international festivals
– Have trained or train frequently, and recorded some videos to correct errors
– Have received at least one private class

No, there will be only passes for the nights of Thursday and Sunday but online.

Unfortunately no, as the same reason for the passes of one single night.

As we have a maximum capacity of 1500 people, we’ll give priority a people with Full Pass and Party Pass.

The Master Classes are designed for people who have an advanced level. This criterion is very difficult to evaluate, but we consider that a person who match the following criteria would be able to participate:

– At least have danced bachata for more than 3 years
– Have attended several  international festivals
– Have trained or train frequently, and recorded some videos to correct errors
– Have received at least one private class

The festival will have courses adapted to all levels and styles.

There will be master classes, advanced workshops, intermediate workshops and open level workshops for people who have only been dancing bachata for a few months.

It’s always funnier to join with a partner, but definitely yes, you can join the festival without a partner as during the workshops there will be a partner rotating.

Yes, you can watch it without no problem! Come to support your friends and partner!

Yes, all the persons with a valid ticket (Full Pass or Party Pass) can join The Round Table!

The preparty on Thursday is free if you own a full pass of the event.

Otherwise, you have to pay 10EUR.

HOTEL FAQ's

The day before the event, we will send you a QR code that can be used in the city’s public transportation. This way, you won’t have to pay even when you come from the airport.

Officially, check-in begins at 15:00 and checkout is at 12:00.

If you arrive before 15:00, you can leave your luggage in the luggage storage room of the hotel.

If you wish to sleep more, you may be able to request a late checkout upon arrival.

If you’re staying in the Ibis Budget Petit Lancy or Ibis Petit Lancy, you don’t have to worry about how to reach your hotel at the end of the party.

⚠️ The last public transportation (free with the hotel) from the Ibis is at 00:45 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, so be careful to not miss that one!

Then, when you will be finishing the party, we will bring you to the hotel, so you don’t have to worry about booking a taxi. 

Our shutte will be working from 2:30 am to 5 am non-stop for the parties of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can follow its live position in the WhatsApp group of our community.

Yes, you can. As soon as possible, please, send us an e-mail to hotel@bachatagenevafestival.com and we’ll manage the reservation for you.

By default, when reserving the hotel using our website,

  • 2 nights include the nights of Friday and Saturday.
  • 3 nights include the nights of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

If those nights don’t work for you, please send an email ASAP to hotel@bachatagenevafestival.com so we try to modify the reservation for you.

You can use the public transportation, which is free with the QR code provided when reserving a hotel (it will be sent one day before the event).

To arrive at the Ramada Hotel, you can take bus 23 from the airport, which passes every 20 minutes and takes 30 minutes to arrive in front of the hotel.
