Five projects, one room, ten minutes each
The bachata scene is full of people building things: schools, events, brands, apps, media, social projects. Most of them grow through word of mouth, one conversation at a time. The Global Bachata Summit puts 5 of those projects on the festival stage, in front of the people who can make them grow.
This is not a debate and not a panel. It is a pitch stage: one person, one project, 10 minutes to present it and 5 minutes of questions from the room. Show what you are building, say what you need, and let the people who can help find you. Everything is filmed and published by the festival, and every selected project receives a Full Pass, so the stage is open to everyone, not only to those already coming.
What kind of projects?
- A dance school or academy with a new program
- A festival, congress or event looking for dancers and partners
- A brand or product made for the dance community
- An app, platform or tool that dancers use
- A media project, podcast, channel or publication
- A social initiative or community project built around dance
Any stage counts, from an idea about to launch to something running for years. What matters is a clear idea and a concrete ask.

Applying is free, pitching is free, and the pass is on us. We pick projects on their merit, not on what they can pay.

Your pitch, recorded and published
Every pitch is filmed. We publish the recordings as part of the festival content, so your project keeps reaching people long after the weekend.

Tell us who you need in the room: students, partners, artists, organizers. We make the introductions after your pitch.
How it works
A short calendar on purpose: the festival is weeks away, and a good pitch does not need months of preparation.

We select five projects
28 - 30 September
The organization picks the five pitches with the clearest idea, the most concrete ask, and the widest mix of project types.

We announce the line-up on 1 October. Selected speakers send their slides (16:9 PDF) or video by 5 October.

Frequently asked questions
Anyone with a project made for the dance community: a school, an event, a brand, an app, a media project or a social initiative. You do not need to be a professional dancer or an artist of the festival.
The project can be at any stage, from an idea you are about to launch to something that has been running for years. What matters is that you can explain it clearly and that you know what you would ask this room for.
